After graduating from the University of Maryland in 2002, Matt was drafted into the National Football League, where he played seven seasons as a tight end. After playing for Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, and Buffalo Bills, he retired in 2008 to pursue a career in the financial services industry.

Matt uses his life and family experiences to formulate client portfolio options, insurance needs, and income protection strategies. Family security is a vital component to his approach with all of his clients, because he follows the same path. Matt lives in the Sugarland area with his wife Alison, and children Taylor and Mason.
