Nick Baker joined IMG Financial Group, Inc. in 2016. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, where he was a proud member of the Corps of Cadets (B-Company) and the Lieutenant General O.R. Simpson Corps Academic Honor Society.
Nick has a genuine passion for building relationships and understanding clients’ deeply personal goals. His energy, enthusiasm, and optimism make him a favorite among many IMG clients.
Early in his advisory career, Nick had the unique opportunity to serve as a “body man,” or personal political aide, to several local, state, and federal politicians. Among his most memorable experiences was working as a body man for fellow Aggie, Houstonian, and nationally recognized trial attorney Tony Buzbee.
An active leader in the Houston Texas A&M Club for Former Students, Nick currently serves as Chair of the Texas A&M Traditions Luncheon. He previously served on the 12th Man Foundation’s Young Alumni Board and was honored as the Houston A&M Club’s Volunteer of the Year in 2025.
Beyond his professional and Aggie involvement, Nick serves on the advisory board of the Prison Entrepreneurship Program, an in-prison ministry focused on helping men discover purpose through business and meaningful work as they re-enter society.
Originally from Huntsville, Texas, Nick now resides in the Heights area of Houston. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family and is an active member of St. John the Divine Church.
